I do not know why? 
You seem to me so charming,
but it's true, when I spy
You, I forget everything.

I find you in my arms,
When I close my eyes,
Listen! your absence harms
Me, and gives my pain a rise.

I want you not for a life,
Come! Combine with me for ever,
I propose you - Be my wife,
And swear! You will leave me never.

I alone, will be nowhere, I fear,
Nobody could part us, come so near.
